Escape the winter blues and join us on our Pistachio Smash Tour. We’ll ride along splendid white beaches, azure waters and do some fancy motorcycle-island hopping in the persian gulf all the way up to mystic Shiraz, high up in the Zagros mountains.
Day 01 - Welcome to Southern Iran, Bandar Abbas
You made it to the Persian Gulf. Get prepared for white beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. Take some time to relax in the Persian sun, let your eyes wander over the Persian gulf sea and maybe even spot The Emirates or Oman on the other side of the strait of Hormuz. Tomorrow you will hop on the bike and now it’s the time to get excited for the splendid adventure that just lies ahead.
Day 02 - Qeshm Island Motorbike Tour
After grabbing and familiarizing with your crotch rocket you head straight to the ferry and hop over to Qeshm island in the strait of Hormuz. We are going to explore the island, discover the impressive star valley and maybe even take the opportunity to stick our toes (or even more) into the warm persian gulf water.
Day 03 - Bandar Abbas to Bandar Lengeh
From the former fishing village, Bandar Abbas, now capital of the province Hormozgan we have one marvellous day of riding along the persian gulf shore till we reach the seaport Bandar Lengeh. With the Zagros mountain foothills in our back and Dubai as well as Abu Dhabi on the other side of “the lake” we indulge in the view over a sundowner tea.
Day 04 - Bandar Lengeh to Bandar Aftab
We leaver Bandar Lengeh behind and drag the pegs through sand and gravel till we will reach Bandar Aftab. This is the perfect starting point for the upcoming hop to the marvellous island Kish.
Day 05 - Kish Island Tour
Today is epic! Early in the morning we grab our bikes and take the ferry to the probably most famous island in the persian gulf, Kish Island. It’s time to relax and recover a little from all the dusty miles of the last days and to refuel for what's up to come. Let it roll, cruise around perfect white beaches and discover azure blue waters. And jump in! If you dare.
Day 06 - Bandar Aftab to Parsian
We say goodbye to Kish island and ride along the coast, leaving also islands Hendorabi and Lavan behind us. With the highest mountain in this area Kuh-e Gav Bast of Farse province just north of us, our stay for tonight is the capital of the Parsian county, Parsian.
Day 07 - Parsian to Bander Siraf
Cruising our way up to the ancient seaport Bander Siraf we will leave the shore and ride a little inland till we explore the impressive necropolis of Bander Siraf with hundreds of bygone open rock graves to discover. Lot’s of history all over the place.
Day 08 - Bander Siraf to Bander Bushehr
This is our final day on the Persian gulf shore before we head inland and ascend up the Zagros mountain range. We pass by the magnificent Mond natural reserve, also called the Paradise of birds. Take it slow and see if you can discover one of the locals such as flamingo, deer or even overtake a turtle nearby.
Day 09 - Bander Bushehr to Kazerun
It’s time to say “Goodbye” to the Persian gulf and say “Hello” to the Zagros mountains. The landscape will finally become greener as we will follow the Dalaki river uphill to Kazerun. This is the opportunity to taste some homegrown dates and pistachios.
Day 10 - Kazerun to Shiraz
We will enjoy the sunrise over Parishan lake and then ride straight through the Arjan protected area. Maybe you can spot the Iranian leopard which hunts in this area. Before he spots you as his breakfast on two wheels ;-) Let’s climb: We’ll ascend up till 2200m, then follow the Qaraeaghaj river downstream and finally reach the former Iranian capital, the mystic city of Shiraz high up at 1540m above sea level. Take some time to relax in a tea house nearby, explore the busy bazaar. Nighttime is the perfect opportunity to visit the Shrine of Shah-e Cheragh and experience a fairy tale of 1001 nights.
Day 11 - Shiraz city explore
Be sure to get up early today and visit the Nasr-ol-Molk-Mosque in the morning to enjoy the awe-inspiring window colour play of the sunrise. Unwind and cool down from the persian-gulf sun and explore Shiraz either by bike or on two feet, or both, and don’t miss out the famous Eram-Garden. If there is still some energy left for riding we'll go explore the surroundings of Shiraz around Bamou national park.
Day 12 - Persepolis Motorbike Tour
Today we add the cherry on top of this adventure and take one smooth ride to the former capital of the Achaemenid Empire. We step into the footprints of Cyrus the Great and explore this former capital of the Achaemenid Empire.
Day 13 - Flight back to Tehran
You can either relax in Shiraz a few more days or directly head for the crazy Iranian capital Tehran. Definitely extend your stay for a few days and explore this city rich of contrast and flavors.
